Today I was individually interviewed with Ms. S about the ROV. My group went on and I joined them after. We got to test the old ROV's from last years class. We also got to test Ms. S ROV that she had. When we were testing them out we got to see how the control box's works and just get the feel of it and more familiar with it. Next class we should be ready to start building the ROV.

Day 2, May 9th
Today I individually met with Mrs. S and other equipment managers and we were each assigned a station to be in charge of. Once she assigned us our station I went on to watch some training videos. I am in charge of working on the propulsion and motors that requires me to have work with wires and soldering. Once I was done watching the videos I started off by practice stripping wires and from there I got to watch some of my classmates soldering while I waited to try it out myself. We ran out of time and I did not get to solder yet.
Day 3, May 11th
Today I started off by practicing soldering. Once I got the hang of that I started to work on the motors. I first went through some of the instructions that were posted online and also watched a video. I got to start working on it and will continue next class period.
Day 4, May 12th
Today I came in earlier before class and finished working on the propellers. Once I finished that I started working on the tethering, which took the whole period to do.

Day 5, May 16th
I continued to work on the motors today. I had to strip off some of the wires for the motors and tethering. Once that was done I watched a video on how to solder and waterproof to just have a recap of how to do it. Next class period I'll be ready to solder the wires together and then waterproofing.
Day 6, May 18th
I continued to work on the motors. I had to connect the tether and motor wires altogether and once that was done I began soldering which took up the rest of the class period.
Day 7, May 19th
Today I finished soldering the tether and motor wires together. I began to waterproof and will finish that up next class period.
